Tip of the day (Why use a light meter in studio)

Simply put, a DSLR camera is incapable of measuring light in a studio as the name implies (digital single lens reflective) measures reflective light returning from the object through the lens to make a correct exposure. With studio we are not measuring reflective light , however we are measuring light falling on the subject. In order to measure light falling on a subject correctly in studio we need to use a light meter, to establish the correct F stops to ensure a correct exposure is made.
